January 31, 2008
Join us for an inside look at UCSD Athletics today. You will hear about the future plans of the UCSD Intercollegiate Athletic department and how it is maintaining Division II status by awarding athletic scholarships for the first time in the history of UC San Diego.
Under the guidance of Earl W. Edwards, the 23-sport program has made a successful transition from the NCAA Division III to Division II and is recognized nationally for its athletic and academic achievements. UCSD is also part of the California Collegiate Athletic Association, widely recognized as one of the premier Division II conferences in the nation.
